July 2025 Luncheon @ Paddington Ale House

Gents, 

We're excited to announce that the July 2025 luncheon is being held at Paddington Ale House in Mount Hawthorn and this month we're in for something speical. Rocky Ridge is providing us with their beers fresh from the South West via their new Taphouse in Duncraig.

We only have 45 seats for this lunch and we sold out last year, so make sure you get your bookings in early.

Ticket sales will end at 5:00pm on Friday 18th July.

For those who have not been, the Paddington is an iconic, cornerstone hotel in Mount Hawthorn, with a rich history dating back to the 1930s. Having been part of the neighbourhood for nearly 100 years, it's an established institution that prides itself on being the local watering hole and meeting point for all to gather, dine, and celebrate. 

The Paddington Ale House was a new venue for Beer & Beef last year, and we are super excited be heading back their way! Last year, the chef came up with a meaty menu for us to enjoy: a trio of beef carpaccio, beef slider and medium rare steak for entree, alongside a Guinness beef cheek gnocchi for main. We can't wait to see what he whips up for us this year!

Just a few quick "house-keeping" reminders:

• Please inform your guest of our dress standards - jacket and tie are compulsory - dress jeans/chinos are perfectly okay;

• The lunch is a strict 1:00pm start - the committee are still in set up phase prior to this (please inform your guests of this as well);

• When you book a ticket for your guest, please be sure to enter their name so we can arrange badges - as well as their email so a copy of the ticket is sent to them;

• Remember to drink responsibly and look after your mates;

• Finally, the club is about true fellowship, so when you introduce your guest(s) - it's not so much about their business and telling the room they should see them for "x" service - it's more about how you've met them and why they'd enjoy the lunch - it's more important to focus on the fellowship aspect, rather than introducing a networking flavour. Set the expectation for them right from the start so they can relax and just enjoy the day.
